Biography

I am a native to Colorado and received both my B.S. in Environmental Soil Science and M.S. in Rangeland Ecology from Colorado State University.   The focus of my Master's thesis was to evaluate the effects of nutrient enrichment on populations of Oxytropissericea in rangelands.  My research objectives for my doctoral program are to evaluate the effects of spatial and temporal dynamics of vegetation on watersheds in the Edwards Plateau of Texas.  Information obtained during my research will aim to help determine how precipitation cycles, climatic factors and future management decisions in the Edwards Plateau will influence water supplies for the region.
