Biography

I received a Bachelors of Science in Forest Resources at the University of Georgia in 2008. After working a few seasonal wildlife technician positions I came to Texas Tech where I earned my MS in Spring of 2012 under the advisement of Dr. Clint Boal. My thesis focused on the anti-predatory behavior of Northern Bobwhite (Colinusvirginianus). Through my PhD work I plan to investigate the changes in raptor agility that result from the attachment of radio transmitters to birds of prey. On the other side of the coin, I plan to examine if attachments of transmitters on raptors' prey species influences raptor prey selection.
