22 October 2019 The NSRL celebrated the cataloging of it's 150,000th mammal specimen, a Euderma maculatum, and the naming of the Genetic Resources Collection after Dr. Robert J. Baker.
12 October 2019 The NSRL-based exhibit, Frozen in Time: Genetic Resource Collections, will be open for public viewing through 12 January 2020.
