Texas Tech University recently hosted an international symposium focused on improving wind farm performance and developing collaborations between industry, academia and national laboratories.
More than 120 people attended the symposium. “We are thankful to the participants who took time from their busy schedules to attend this important symposium,” said Dr. John Schroeder, WiSE Director. “We look forward to growing collaborations across the wind energy community to meet the challenges.”
Attendees represented a wide variety of industry, academia, and the national laboratories including NREL, Sandia National Laboratories, Alstom, NCAR, GE Energy, Group NIRE, and numerous academic institutions from across the globe. The symposium was presented by the National Wind Resource Center (NWRC), WiSE, and the National Institute for Renewable Energy (Group NIRE).
