McDonald-Mehta Lecture Series 2014: Mr. Nick Johansen (Iberdrola Renewables)

The Annual McDonald-Mehta Lecture Series for 2014 opened up with Mr. Nick Johansen as its first speaker. Mr. Johansen is a Systems Engineer with Iberdrola Renewables, and his presentation covered "Technical Case Studies in Wind Farm Management and Optimization."

Mr. Johansen and his team are responsible for the development of systematic turbine and wind farm performance assessment methodologies and performing detailed turbine level performance assessments. He is the lead analyst assessing performance deviations associated with the installation of aerodynamic devices on high altitute utility scale wind turbines.
