Forgot to order your books when you ordered your course?

1. If you did not order books when you ordered your course, you can order them using the form in step 3.
2. Before completing the form, you must first view the appropriate course listing below to determine which books you need.

Are you finished with your course? Sell your books back to the Outreach & Distance Education Bookstore.

Most required books and materials for courses listed in this catalog are available in the CODE Bookstore unless otherwise noted. We recommend that you purchase books and materials at the same time you enroll (unless otherwise stated in the course description) because books listed in this catalog may be updated or become unavailable. Textbooks for ICON (English) 1301 and 1302 as well as PSY 1300 Online are available only through the CODE Bookstore. Given that publishers often change versions and ISBN numbers for textbooks, we recommend that you purchase all required elementary textbooks from the CODE Bookstore. If you choose to purchase books from other bookstores or borrow them from libraries or schools, it is your responsibility to obtain the correct edition of each book.

Whenever possible, the CODE Bookstore stocks used books. If used books are not available, we reserve the right to substitute a new book, and you will be billed for the difference. If you receive a used book but paid the new book price, you will be refunded the difference. Because of factors beyond our control, textbook prices, titles, or editions may change without notice.

For assistance in calculating your textbook fees or for shipments outside of the contiguous United States, contact the Outreach & Distance Education Bookstore. Shipments outside the contiguous United States will be charged the actual shipping fee.

All orders are subject to a 24-hour processing period. Orders received on weekends, University holidays, or after 2 p.m. on Fridays will not be processed until the following business day. Regardless of the shipping method selected (overnight, UPS 2nd-day Air, etc.), CODE must have adequate lead time to fill orders.

If your textbooks are lost or damaged in transit, contact us within 15 days of enrollment to request replacement of missing or mail-damaged books or materials.

If you withdraw from a course and return your textbooks within 30 calendar days after your enrollment, you will receive a 100% refund. After 30 days or after completing the course, we will purchase back your textbooks if they are still being used for the course and are in condition to be resold. Please verify that the textbooks are still being used and obtain a buy-back price. Unless otherwise stated in the course description, we do not buy back workbooks, course guides, supplies, tapes, or videos. To guarantee delivery, books must be returned by insured parcel post or United Parcel Service (UPS). Please allow two to four weeks from our receipt of the books to process payment.
