CREDIT BY EXAMINATIONS (CBEs)
Review Sheets. Review sheets for CBEs are available at the k-12 website. The CBE review sheets include sample questions (and in many cases sample examinations) and explain the format of examinations and contain a detailed list of items you must bring to the examination. Some CBEs require you to create or prepare assignments at home prior to the examination, so be sure to read the review sheets carefully. CBE review sheets are not comprehensive and do not cover all the material in the tests. You must download review sheets when you register for your examination to ensure you receive the most current versions.

Textbooks. You do not have to order textbooks to study for a CBE since CBEs are not tied to specific textbooks. If you wish to refer to a book, you can use any Texas state-adopted textbook.
