Honors College

Students must be enrolled in the Honors College to apply for these scholarships. Special applications may be picked up in the Honors office.

Chancellor's Council Honors
Endowed Scholarship

For students who have at least a 1300 SAT1 or 30 ACT and whose class rank is within the top 15 percent. It may also be offered to highly qualified Texas Tech students whose exceptional performance merits consideration.

Established by the Chancellor's Council and administered by the Honors College.

Peder G. Christiansen Scholarship

Established in honor of Peder G. Christiansen by his former students. One awarded. Amount varies.

CINTAS Honors Scholarship
in Marketing

For students in the area of marketing. Recipients must be Honors College participants and have indicated either a commitment to or a strong interest in marketing. Two awards in the amount of $500 each ($250 per semester). Funded by CINTAS Corporation, a uniform rental business based in Cincinnati.

Friends of Honors Scholarship

One award of $300 annually. Donated anonymously each year.

Lou Kimble Scholarship

One awarded annually. Amount is usually about $400.

Billie J. and Marvin B. Smith
Scholarship

Established by Billie J. and Marvin B. Smith for incoming and continuing Arts and Sciences students. Six awards in the amount of $500 a year.
