Intersession at Junction
May 12 – 27
- Classes held at Junction Center campus.
First Summer Term
May 28, Friday
- Last day to make full payment of tuition and fees or make payment arrangements for pre-registration.
May 31, Monday
- 10 a.m., residence halls open for occupancy.
June 1, Tuesday
- Faculty on duty.
- Registration for new students.
- Last day to register or withdraw from the university without penalty.
- First meal (breakfast) served in residence halls.
June 2, Wednesday
- Classes begin.
- Student-initiated drop-add (changes in schedule) and withdrawal (drop all courses) begin on MyTech.
June 3, Thursday
- Last day to add a course.
June 4, Friday
- Last day for doctoral students to file Defense Notification form.
June 7, Monday
- Last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech without penalty (drop does not count against drop limit).
- Last day to drop a course and receive a refund. Does not apply to students who drop to 0 hours.
- Last day to make full payment of tuition and fees or make payment arrangements for registrations or additions made on
or after the first day of class for Summer I.
June 8, Tuesday
- Student-initiated drop made on or after this date counts against drop limit.
June 14, Monday
- Last day for graduate degree candidates to file with the Graduate School a statement of intention to graduate.
June 18, Friday
- Last day for degree candidates and faculty to order invitations and academic regalia at the bookstore.
June 22, Tuesday
- Last day to make full payment of tuition and fees or make payment arrangements for registrations or additions
on or after June 7. - Last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech with penalty (counts against drop limit) and/or transfer between colleges.
- Last day to declare pass/fail intentions.
June 29, Tuesday
- Last day to withdraw from the university.
- Last day for undergraduate degree candidates to remove grades of I and PR and to complete final examinations in correspondence courses.
July 1, Thursday
- Last day of classes.
- Last day for graduate degree candidates to defend theses/dissertations.
- Last day for graduate degree candidates to pay the thesis/dissertation fee posted to Banner account.
July 2 – 3, Friday – Saturday
- Final examinations.
- Friday – Last day for graduate degree candidates to submit final defense reports to Graduate School.
- Saturday – First summer term ends.
July 4, Sunday
- Students without room reservations for the second term must vacate residence hall rooms by 10 a.m.
- Last meal (breakfast) served in residence halls.
July 8, Thursday
- 5 p.m., final grade rolls due in the Registrar’s Office.
Second Summer Term
July 2, Friday
- Last day to make full payment of tuition and fees or make payment arrangements for pre-registration.
July 5, Monday
- 10 a.m., residence halls open for occupancy.
July 6, Tuesday
- Faculty on duty.
- Registration for new students.
- Last day to register or withdraw from the university without penalty.
- First meal (breakfast) served in residence halls.
- Last day for graduate degree candidates to submit to the Graduate School their final thesis/dissertation draft.
- Last day for master’s interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary students to submit portfolio.
July 7, Wednesday
- Classes begin.
- Student-initiated drop-add (changes in schedule) and withdrawal (drop all courses) begin on MyTech.
- Last day for master’s non-thesis comprehensive examination.
July 8, Thursday
- Last day to add a course.
- Last day for master’s candidates to submit comprehensive examination reports.
July 12, Monday
- Last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech without penalty (drop does not count against drop limit).
- Last day to drop a course and receive a refund. Does not apply to students who drop to 0 hours.
- Last day to make full payment of tuition and fees or make payment arrangements for registrations or additions made
on or after the first day of class for Summer II. - Last day to remove grades of I, PR, or CR in the Graduate School. This does not apply to the PR/CR received on a
pervious thesis or dissertation enrollment.
July 13, Tuesday
- Student-initiated drop made on or after this date counts against drop limit.
July 27, Tuesday
- Last day for graduate degree candidates to submit to the Graduate School final corrected PDF copy of thesis/dissertation.
- Last day to declare pass/fail intentions.
- Last day for student-initiated drop on MyTech with penalty (counts against drop limit) and/or transfer between colleges.
- Last day to make full payment of tuition and fees or make payment arrangements for registrations or additions on or after July 13.
August 2, Monday
- Last day to withdraw from the university.
- Last day for undergraduate degree candidates to remove grades of I and PR and to complete final examinations in correspondence courses.
August 4, Wednesday
- Last day of classes.
August 5 – 6, Thursday – Friday
- Final examinations for second term.
August 6, Friday
- Second summer term ends.
- Commencement.
- 9 a.m – Agriculture, Architecture, Arts and Sciences, Education, Graduate School, Honors (NHH and HAL Majors ONLY), Mass Communications
- 1:30 p.m. – Business, Engineering, Graduate School, Human Sciences, Visual and Performing Arts, University Studies,
University College
