Texas Tech University

Faculty and Administration

The Office of Planning and Assessment (OPA) is an integral part of faculty credentialing at Texas Tech. OPA works to ensure that all instructors of record are qualified to teach in their instructional discipline. OPAs efforts, combined with all departments across TTU's campus, confirmed compliance with SACSCOC during the 2015 reaffirmation process. We persist with this endeavor each semester and continuous compliance is a priority of OPA.

Digital Measures Login

DigitalMeasures is the software platform for TTU's documentation of faculty credentialing.

DigitalMeasures allows faculty to track academic and professional activities electronically. Keeping individual DigitalMeasures accounts up-to-date maintains TTU's faculty roster for SACSCOC reporting and documents faculty member's HB 2504 compliance. Faculty members and TTU are able to streamline reporting processes through customized reports. Digital Measures is compatible with most Internet browsers including these for Windows: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge; and these for Mac: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari. Betty Ann Thomas is the administrator of DigitalMeasures at Texas Tech University. Betty Ann can be reached by phone at (806) 742-1505.

TracDat Login

TracDat is the software platform TTU uses to document academic assessment.

The tool selected by Texas Tech University for managing the evidence collected for our assessments is TracDat. A Web-based assessment management system, TracDat is designed to help institutions manage assessment, planning, and quality improvement processes, and overcome common assessment obstacles. TracDat is not assessment, nor does it teach individuals how to assess; its sole purpose is to assist us in organizing and managing the process. Data that you enter into the TracDat database is reviewed by our office, which monitors student learning outcomes (SLOs) outcomes for the whole campus. OPA uses TracDat data as evidence for internal and external reports to the university president, Board of Regents, and regional accrediting agencies. Please contact Becky Fletcher in the Office of Planning and Assessment for assistance. Becky can be reached by telephone at (806) 742-1505.
