About Citibus and Bus Routes

Citibus provides on- and off-campus bus service in Lubbock under the direction and guidance of Texas Tech's Student Government Association.

On-campus service is free to anyone on the Texas Tech campus. Students may ride for free on any Citibus off-campus route by showing their Texas Tech ID card.

Off-Campus Routes

Citibus provides a number of Off-Campus routes, including ones that transfer to Texas Tech campus buses. Click here to see a list of maps for these routes.

Night Shuttle

From 6:50 p.m. to 12:45 a.m., Citibus provides a campus night shuttle as a free service to students. Call (806) 742-NITE  (6483) for a pick-up at any on-campus location to any other on-campus location. See more information here. A valid student ID is needed.

S Bus

Through Texas Tech's Student Government Association, Tech students may use the S Bus at no charge. The S Bus provides safe transportation by bus to and from certain apartment complexes and night-life locales in Lubbock. The S Bus runs Thursday through Saturday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., depending on the bus schedule and stop location. See a schedule here.
