Installing Parking Permit
If you have already purchased yourself a new parking permit, the hard part is over. All you have to do is follow these easy instructions to install your new permit to be valid in your designated parking lot.
To Install Your New Texas Tech Parking Permit:
- Remove any expired TTU/TTUHSC parking permits from your windshield.
- Clean the area with household glass cleaner to remove the residue. Use caution to ensure that you do not damage any other stickers or permits on the windshield.
- Make sure the area is clean and dry.
- Remove all backing paper by peeling the slit both ways.
- Apply decal in the lower corner of the driver's side. Apply only to the inside of windshield. Vehicle registration is not complete until decal is properly affixed to windshield. Application of decal in any other fashion will subject vehicle to citation.
NOTE:You have to put the permit on your car's window properly for it to be valid. If we can't see it or if it on your dashboard and not attached, you will get a ticket. Also, you must remove any expired permits from your vehicle.
