Academic Skills Advisement
The PASS center offers one-on-one academic skills advisement.
TechSIS
The TechSIS site allows students to register online, pay tuition, calculate their GPAs, print transcripts, and much more.
Tutoring
The PASS Learning Center offers free peer tutoring in physics, chemistry, science, economics, some foreign languages, and all levels of mathematics. The Missouri Club Math Lab provides math tutorial sessions and can be reached at 742-2566.
Self-help Learning Lab
The PASS Self-help Learning Lab offers a wide variety of self-help tutorials. For more information click here.
Supplemental Instruction
The PASS center offers modified discussion sessions for historically difficult entry-level academic courses. For more information click here.
Writing & Reading
The University Writing Center offers one-on-one and online writing tutorial sessions for students, faculty, and staff. For developmental writing and reading instruction, contact the TASP office.

Career & Personal Guidance


Career Testing
The Career Center offers a wide variety of services related to choosing and pursuing a career. Among the many services they offer are career testing, resume critiques, and job fairs. In addition, the Student Counseling Center offers career guidance.
Counseling
The Student Counseling Center provides a wide selection of free counseling services.
Finances
The Financial Aid Office coordinates federal financial aid and maintains a job board.
Problem Solving
The Texas Tech Ombudsman offers a variety of confidential problem solving and referral services. Also, Student Affairs has links to a number of other services.

Disabilities (Learning and Physical)


Screening
The Student Counseling Center and TEAM Center provide a brief, free screening for learning disabilities.
Testing Accommodation
Student Disability Services helps qualified students with all types of disabilities arrange for testing accommodation services. The PASS center offers testing accommodation services for qualified students with disabilities. Also, see the TECHniques Center (under "Other Services" below).
Other Services
Student Disability Services provides a wide variety of support services for qualified disabled students. The TECHniques Center is a fee-for-service center that provides more extensive support for qualified learning disabled students.
