Schedule a Visit

We have a detailed map of the campus and a general map of Lubbock to help you find your way around when you visit. Below you will find directions to the Texas Tech University campus from the Lubbock International Airport as well as a map of parking near the Petroleum Engineering department.

Directions to TTU Campus from Lubbock International Airport

  1. From Lubbock International Airport, go to Interstate 27.
  2. Head due south on I-27.
  3. Exit on 4th Street (will have signage denoting Texas Tech University).
  4. Go due west on 4th Street.
  5. Pick an option:
    1. 1st Option
      1. At 4th and University Avenue, turn left.
      2. Go to Broadway (main entrance to campus).
      3. Turn into Tech entrance. At the campus traffic box, you will be directed to parking on the Engineering Key.
    2. 2nd Option
      1. Continue on 4th until you reach Drive of Champions. This is the first left you can make after passing University Avenue. **Note** There is no traffic light at this intersection.
      2. Follow Drive of Champions until you reach Canton Avenue.
      3. Turn right and go to the campus traffic box.
      4. Identify yourself as a visitor to the Petroleum Engineering Department.
      5. You will be directed to Reserved Parking Lot R4. Parking space is available for visitors, but must be reserved in advance. Please contact the department for details.
  6. The Petroleum Engineering office is located on the 2nd floor in room 214.
