| | | | Each department on the Texas Tech University campus has an assigned Department Employment Services Coordinator (ESC) to direct new employees through the New Hire process and to assure compliance with federal mandates. The ESC works directly with the Hiring Supervisor or Manager, the New Employee and the TTU Personnel Department to help facilitate the new employee’s transition into university life. To learn more about specific responsibilities of the ESC follow this link. | |

| | | | | All new Employment Service Coordinators must attend an initial training session conducted by TTU Personnel and the Office of International Affairs. This required class is an overview of procedures to be followed and instructions to be given to new employees as they complete the required forms for starting a job at TTU. Also included is background information concerning nonresident aliens who will be employed or contracted for service, and the subsequent payment and taxation issues. | | | | Follow this easy step-by-step guide for processing New Employees. The New Employee Packet contains all of the forms and brochures that must be completed by the new employee. The ESC will be able to either print the forms or can direct the new employee to the web page to complete the packet online. In both cases the completed forms must be reviewed by the ESC, printed, signed and sent to Personnel. NOTE: The New Employee Packet must be completed within the first 3 days of employment. | |
