Parking

Free parking is available at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

Classroom Sessions

Technical papers will be presented in air-conditioned rooms. Classroom sessions are 50 minutes for presentation and discussion. Locations and times for the presentations are listed on pages 12 and 13.

Exhibits

Exhibits will open 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 23, and Thursday, April 24, in the Exhibit Hall, one hour before presentations begin.  This will give registrants a chance to visit with exhibitors and to have donuts and coffee.  Registrants will be able to browse through the exhibits at their convenience any time during the day.  The buffet luncheons on Wednesday and Thursday will also be held in the Exhibit Hall for greater exposure.  Door prizes will be given away each day at the Conference.  You must be present to win!  Look for the drop box in the Exhibit Hall. A door prize ticket is included with registration.

CD ROM

The Southwestern Petroleum Short Course Proceedings are now available on CD from 1954-2008. The CDs are searchable by paper title or author. The disk set will be available for delivery during the SWPSC Conference. The CD set must be pre-ordered and pre-paid. The cost of the SWPSC CD-ROM Proceedings is $200 a set. The update for 2008, for those that own the set, is $50.

The Civic Center is located in downtown Lubbock at 6th Street & Avenue O. Visitors will find posted signs along Interstate 27 and 4th Street which will direct you to the facility. If traveling Interstate 27, exit 4th Street (US 62) and turn west. Go approximately 1/2 mile west and turn left (south) to 6th & Ave O.
