Dr. Khan’s teaching and research interests are in the areas of public budgeting, financial management, and quantitative methods. He has previously served as director of the graduate program in public administration at Texas Tech University and currently serves on the editorial boards of several professional public administration journals. Author and coauthor of half a dozen books and edited volumes, Professor Khan has contributed work to various edited and professional journals, including State and Local Government Review, Journal of Municipal Finance, International Journal of Public Administration, Public Budgeting, Accounting, and Financial Management, and Engineering Economist. Dr. Khan is the founder and current Director of the Institute of Governmental Finance at Texas Tech University.
