Area Directors
Jeannie DiazDirector Jeannie Diaz is the Director for the Center for Undergraduate Research at Texas Tech University. She has worked for Texas Tech University since 2005 and has a background in public relations, marketing, corporate recruiting, and career center services. Jeannie also serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Lubbock. She is a Lubbock native and graduate of Texas Tech University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a Master of Arts.
Jennifer DrawbridgeAdvisor Jennifer Drawbridge is the Academic Advisor for the Bachelor of University Studies program. Prior to her 5 years in Higher Education, she was a youth employment counselor for the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment. She is currently working towards obtaining her Master Certification in Academic Advising, after receiving a BA in English and Business Administration from Western State College and an M.Ed in Higher Education Leadership and Administration from Jones International University.
Lynn ElmsDirector Lynn Elms is the Director for Region 1 of the University Interscholastic League also known as UIL. She has worked for Texas Tech University since 1974 and has a background in education and theatre. Lynn received both of her degrees from Texas Tech and is heavily involved with campus activities. Michelle Kiser, Ed.D.Interim Managing Director Dr. Michelle Kiser is the Unit Supervisor for Texas Success Initiative, a developmental education program. A native of Ballinger, Texas, Michelle graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Science in Sports Psychology, and earned her Doctorate of Education in Higher Education.
Lindsey LumanUnit Coordinator Lindsey Luman is the Unit Coordinator for the Supplemental Instruction Program (SI) which provides peer-led review sessions for historically difficult courses. She has worked with the SI Program since 1998. Lindsey graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Accounting.
Sean KellyUnit Coordinator Sean Kelley is the Unit Coordinator for the Learning Center at TTU. The Learning Center is dedicated to helping students achieve academic success and to develop lifelong learning skills and offers services such as free tutoring and academic skill advisements. He has worked at TTU for seven years both as an instructor and in his current position. He has a Master's degree from TTU and is currently working on his doctorate.
Pat McConnelDirector Pat McConnel is the Director for Academic Testing Services. She is active in the state and national organizations for Collegiate Testing Personnel and has twenty years of service to Texas Tech University. Pat earned both of her degrees from Texas Tech and actively serves on numerous committees and has been the recipient of various awards for quality service.
Brenda WinnUnit Supervisor Brenda Foreman Winn is the Unit Supervisor for XL: Strategies for Learning Program within Programs for Academic Support. Here she leads a team providing instruction in all aspects of student success and personal management skills. After 12 years of service with TTU, she remains a strong advocate for lifelong learning, professional development and multicultural education. Brenda holds a Bachelor's in Sociology and Anthropology from Southwestern University and a Master's in Cultural Anthropology from TTU. |
