Tenure Hearing Committee

Charge:

Members of the Tenure Hearing Committee, when convened, are responsible for considering faculty terminations under provisions of the university tenure policy.

Appointment:

From the committee, five members will be chosen by lot by the Tenure Advisory Committee to hear an individual case.

Operating Procedures:

The Tenure Hearing Committee will operate in accordance with the provisions of the Texas Tech University policies on tenure.

Chairperson:

The Tenure Hearing Committee will elect a chairperson from its membership.
