Professor Beyea teaches business entities and advanced courses in business law, including securities regulation and mergers and acquisitions. She joined the law school faculty in 2009 as a visiting professor and was pleased to return in fall 2010 as an assistant professor.
Professor Beyea is admitted to practice in the state of New York. She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was an executive editor of the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics. Following law school, Professor Beyea was an associate on the U.S. Corporate Finance Team in the London office of international law firm Norton Rose LLP.
She has written and published in the fields of mergers and acquisitions and securities regulation, and her teaching and research interests include corporate law, M&A, and securities regulation, with a particular focus on international and comparative issues.
