Dr. Goggin grew up in the Midwest (Ohio). She received her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, M.S. from Penn State University and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989. She has taught at three other colleges, Marietta College (Ohio) and University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and spent the past 21 years at the University of North Texas. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, off-road biking and reading.
Her teaching areas include motor behavior, motor development, aging and movement control. Her research interests include aging and movement control, posture and balance mechanisms in aging and developmental aspects of children's motor skill performance.
