Ryan Litsey is the document delivery/interlibrary loan assistant librarian in the Texas Tech University Library. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science as well as a Master of Arts in Political Science from California State University Northridge. He also holds a Master of Science in library and information sciences from Florida State University.
Mr. Litsey began his career in libraries as a page for the Alachua County Library District. From there he became a library assistant for the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida. During his tenure at UF, he also served on the Board of Trustees for the Alachua County Library District. Just prior to leaving for Texas Tech, he was the unit coordinator for interlibrary loan and document delivery for the University of Florida.
Mr. Litsey has taught classes on American federal government. He has also served on the PR and marketing committee for the George A. Smathers Libraries and the advisory group for Research Services and Scholarly Resources. His professional affiliations include the American Library Association and the Association of College and Research Libraries.
