Education, Curriculum and Instruction
Dr. Patricia Patrick is an assistant professor in the College of Education in curriculum and instruction. She is currently teaching classes in secondary science methods and will be teaching middle level science methods in the spring.
Dr. Patrick earned a B.S. in biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an M.Ed. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She earned a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in environmental science education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May 2006.
Dr. Patrick spent more than 13 years in public school education, at the secondary level teaching biology, environmental science, physical science, astronomy and earth science. She was the coordinator of elementary education at Bennett College in Greensboro. Dr. Patrick is a member of the NABT Global Studies Committee and the ESERA Early Science Education Committee.
