Ryan Cassidy is an assistant librarian at Texas Tech University Libraries. As a general reference librarian, he meets with students, faculty, staff, and community patrons to determine and locate the best resources for individual academic research needs.
Cassidy earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Science in Information and Library Science from the University of North Texas.
While attending the University of North Texas, he served as a graduate library assistant and was an officer in the local chapter of the Freethought Alliance. Cassidy is an active member of the American Library Association, Texas Library Association and Association of College Research Libraries, where he serves both as a Web editor to the Residency Interest Group and as listserv administrator.
