Will Armstrong is an assistant professor of finance in the Rawls College of Business. Professor Armstrong's research is in the areas of:
- empirical asset pricing
- market efficiency
More specifically, his research focuses on how asset prices are affected by dynamic market frictions, such as investor interactions, capital flows, asymmetric information and liquidity risk.
Will received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 2012. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., Will worked for more than 10 years in private industry (Archon Group (subsidiary of Goldman Sachs) and Crown Castle International), gaining experience in the areas of investments, portfolio management and real estate. Will received his B.S. in finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and his M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.
