Adam Cohen is an assistant professor in the Department of Health, Exercise & Sports Sciences. His primary research focus is in the area of sport-for-development (SFD), social justice, and youth sport participation and impact. He seeks to examine the impact of sport in a broader and more global spectrum (i.e., conflict resolution, homelessness, other marginalized populations). In addition, he investigates the nature of impact and inclusivity within a sport setting, especially within youth sports and non-traditional sport mediums.
