Dan Carpenter

Daniel Carpenter is an assistant professor of science education. Carpenter comes to the TTU College of Education from the University of Nebraska, where he received his Ph.D. in 2012. Carpenter’s research has been in K-16 teacher collaboration, instructional improvement and school improvement models, and the extent to which K-16 teacher and administrator collaboration and interactions lead to instructional improvement. Carpenter is working directly on the following agendas:

  1. Professional Learning Communities, Teacher Collaboration and Instructional Improvement
  2. Project Based Learning and Instructional Improvement as a School Improvement Paradigm*
  3. Teacher Motivation and Instructional Improvement
  4. School Improvement Models
  5. Global Educator Models and Global Mindedness in Education as a mechanism to Instructional Improvement*
  6. Comprehensive Data Models for K12 Teacher Professional Development
