Ghislaine Fremaux (Ghi) holds her MFA from the Pennsylvania State University, conferred in 2012. Her immense pastel drawings examine sexuality, selfhood and the embodied consciousness.
Fremaux has notably shown in the 2014 Nicaraguan Biennial, 2014 Biennial of the Central American Isthmus, and A.I.R. Gallery's 10th Biennial in 2012, among other exhibitions nationwide. Research interests presently include the representation of survivorship (funded by Penn State's School of Visual Arts and College of Arts & Architecture), self-actualization, subject/object problems, beauty and the practice of nudism among senior citizens.
