Sharad Gupta

Dr. Gupta's research areas are protein-membrane interactions, novel imaging techniques, biocompatible and biodegradable nano-particles for medical imaging and targeted cancer treatment. His research has direct applicability in medical imaging and cancer treatment. Gupta received his PhD in Physics from I.I.T. Kanpur, India in 2006. Before joining TTU, he was an assistant project scientist in Physics and Astronomy at the University of California – Riverside. Gupta will help establish a Dynamic light scattering and Zeta potential system as a core component of a characterization facility.
