Dr. Oh is a developmentalist whose research focuses on social and emotional development in childhood and early adolescence. She is especially interested in the study of the developmental transition periods in school and family environments focusing on the role of child characteristics, parent, sibling, peer and contextual factors (culture, school climate) in children's psychosocial functioning. Wonjung actively seeks novel, innovative approaches to address applied research questions pertaining to children's development and family functioning. Oh received her Ph.D. in Human Development, and Graduate Certificate (Doctoral Minor) in Measurement, Statistics and Evaluation from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining Texas Tech University, Wonjung was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychology and Psychiatry, Center for Human Growth and Development at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
