Camille Thomas is the Scholarly Communication Librarian, assistant rank in the Texas Tech University Libraries. She specializes in scholarly communication which includes copyright, academic publishing, open access and research impact. Before joining TTU, she worked for Florida State University, University of Arizona and Orange County Public Library System. She received her Masters of Library and Information Studies from Florida State University in 2015 and a BA in Creative Writing and Journalism from the University of Central Florida in 2012. Her research interests include the impact of scholarly communication on society, emerging service areas in libraries and social media informatics. She is also interested in multicultural and millennial information behavior.
