Horn Professors
Horn Professorships, the highest honor the university may bestow on members of its faculty, are granted to professors in recognition of national or international distinction for outstanding teaching, research, or other creative achievement. The number is not limited and no attempt is made to maintain any fixed ratio among colleges or departments. For more detailed information regarding appointment procedures, see OP 32.09.
