April 15, 2014
Provost Lawrence Schovanec, Vice President for Research Robert Duncan and Chief Finance Officer Noel Sloan will be conducting a series of college forums in order to update the Texas Tech University community on strategic priorities and goals, and to report on central administration budget commitments for FY14 and FY15. Outcomes of Budget Prep Hearings held earlier this spring with the deans will be discussed, including graduate funding, new faculty lines, infrastructure and safety, and other requests. They will also address possible RCM models that would encourage efficiencies and opportunities for investment that support strategic university priorities. The forums are intended to provide an opportunity for an open dialogue on these issues.
Each forum is scheduled to last one hour and will consist of a presentation of approximately 30 minutes, with the remainder of the time for questions and answers.
