2016 Turf Grass Field Day

The 2016 Turf Grass Field day was held at Texas Tech University's Quaker Farm. The event brought out green industry professionals and homeowners alike. Attendance was free and lunch was provided to participants. Topics covered included lawn and general turf, as well as golf and sports turf. The event was hosted by Dr. Joey Young, assistant professor with TTU's Department of Plant and Soil Science, and Vikram Baliga, the Lubbock County Horticulture Extension Agent for Texas A&M AgriLife and TTU graduate student.
