Responsibilities and Expectations for Undergraduate Research Assistants
Students are expected to work approximately 9 hours a week in the lab. Students are primarily responsible for conducting experimental sessions, which can be computer-based studies, pen and paper studies, and occasionally studies involving participant interaction. Students might also be asked to enter data, code participant responses or video/audio recordings, and read/discuss articles related to the research. Motivated students may also have opportunities to learn more about experimental design and analysis and the "nuts and bolts" of research.
