Responsibilities and Expectations for Undergraduate Research Assistants
In this lab we hope that undergraduate research assistants will gain valuable experience about the different stages of research. Additionally we hope the work undergraduates do in the lab will help prepare them for graduate school. General duties include data assisting with literature reviews, data collection, data entry, statistical analyses when possible (i.e., depending on the developmental level of the student), and other tasks that are important to running our research projects and the lab as a whole. We expect students to work hard, show up on time for their lab hours, and be responsible for the work they are assigned. In lab meetings undergraduates have the opportunity to ask questions about research and graduate school.
