Who should attend? All TTU faculty and staff who want to be American Red Cross certified in Basic First Aid. This training is also available for all TTU employees that will serve as responders in the TTU System HeartFirst Program.
Course Fee: Course Fee: $17.50 payable to the American Red Cross. Please bring payment with you to class or your department will be billed by American Red Cross, South Plains Regional Chapter. (Breakdown of fees: The $8.00 administrative fee is required for certification by the American Red Cross, the materials fee is $2.50, and the skills card fee is $7.00 for a total cost of $17.50.) If you have questions about the course fee, contact the Environmental Health and Safety Office (742-3876).
Cancellation Fee: When you register for First Aid or CPR/AED classes you are obligating yourself and your department to attend the class. If you do not attend the class, your department will be billed the $17.50 fee. A 72-hour notice is required to drop the class or your department will be billed.
