Overview

Two Visions

On February 18, 2012, a new exhibit will open in the Macy Gallery featuring the Western artwork of David Griffin and Bob Moline. David, whose western depictions of working cowboys have gained favor with many collectors, has been featured in magazines articles in Cowboys and Indians, Victoria and the Dallas Morning News. His work can be found in many corporate collections and he has been invited to participate in many prominent art shows including the American Art Classic in Houston, Renaissance Show and Sale at Dallas, Texas Art Gallery Collectors Sale in Dallas and the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale in Denver.

Bob earned a living as a saddle-maker while learning to be an artist. His paintings portray working cowboys on cattle drives, round-ups and brandings. He has been recognized as an outstanding artist by the Texas Professional Artists, The American Indian and Cowboy Artist's Society and the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame. Moline won Best of Auction in the Cody, Wyoming show in 1984. In 1986, he was chosen to do the poster art for the world famous Cheyenne Frontier Days. Moline's work has also been displayed in The Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.
