Endowment
Fund for the
Preservation of the Ranching Heritage of America
The Endowment Fund for the
Preservation of the Ranching Heritage of America was established in January 1980
with the purpose of receiving and maintaining funds or real or personal property
for support of the National Ranching Heritage Center. The State of Texas
approved its incorporation in January 1980 as a nonprofit entity. In July 1980,
the Internal Revenue Service designated the Endowment as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt
organization. Donations and earned income from investments
currently help to support:
·
Upkeep of existing structures · Acquisition of additional
historical structures · Annual events, including
Ranch Day and Candlelight at the Ranch · Annual recognition programs,
including the Boss of the Plains Award and Golden
Spur Award ·
Education programs for
children · Permanent and temporary
