For High School Ages The National Ranching Heritage Center hosts an annual Youth Art Show for area high school students with an interest in art. Each show will have a different theme that will be related to both art and ranching. Participants can enter two-dimensional art in any medium they choose. All work submitted will be carefully evaluated, and chosen pieces will be on display in the NRHC's Stevens Gallery. In 2008, the Youth Art Show will be a stop on the First Friday Art Trail in April. Participating artists will also be featured in an article in the Ranch Record, the nationally distributed publication of the NRHC. The show will be on display in the gallery April through July. Frames will be provided, but participants are responsible for matting and delivering their work to the NRHC. |
