This pair of spurs was made by Oscar Crockett and appeared in the 1931 Crockett Catalog. The spur model name was Eudora, made only in a man’s size and unmounted. The Crockett catalog of 1942 displays this spur and calls it model 100. This pair of Crockett spurs offered in this auction are quite unusual because they were made out of stainless steel in a ladies' size. They have a monel metal rowel. Due to this rarity they were mounted by Randy Butters, who is the pre-eminent restorer of cowboy spurs. Mr. Butters mounted these spurs in Crocket’s #70 which is called a “4 heart pattern.”
