Welcome to the Business Communication (BCOM) program at the Rawls College of Business.
While a bachelor's degree in a business discipline focuses on hands-on, practical
skills, there still remains a need to be an effective communicator. Research has shown
that interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills remain coveted by corporate
recruiters. The ability to effectively communicate continues to provide a competitive
edge as employees work to advance their careers. The BCOM faculty works closely with
Rawls College students to sharpen their communication skills. Our classes complement
major-specific courses and prepare students for success after graduation. For more
information about the BCOM program, please contact Business Communication.
