Evan Harris

Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending | First Financial Bank | Abilene, TX

Evan Harris is a native Abilenian and graduated from Wylie High School in 2002.  He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics with minors in Personal Financial Planning and General Business from Texas Tech University in 2006.  Additionally,  Evan graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU in 2014.

After graduation, Evan was hired by First Financial Bankshares, Inc. as a Loan Review Analyst from July 2006 to February 2008.  He was then promoted to Credit Analyst at First Financial Bank, Abilene beginning in March 2008 and then in October 2008 was promoted again to Vice President, Commercial Lending, at the FFB Abilene's River Oaks branch.  In September 2012, Evan was promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending, and became FFB Abilene's South Branch Manager in January 2013, and holds both of these positions today.

Evan was named to Abilene's Top 20 Under 40 for the year of 2010, graduated from Leadership Abilene in 2010 and is involved with the Abilene Young Professionals group through the Abilene Chamber of Commerce.

Evan has been involved in the following organizations as a board member or community volunteer:  Abilene Chamber of Commerce, Baptist Church Loan Corporation, Connecting Caring Communities, First Baptist Church of Abilene, Friends of Safety City, Junior Achievement,  Serenity House, Texas Tech Alumni Association - Abilene Chapter, Texas Tech School of Banking, United Way and YMCA.

Evan and his wife, Callie, have one daughter, Caroline, and are expecting their second child in April 2016.
