Sam Kana is the President/CEO of the First National Bank of Eagle Lake, a $110million national bank in Colorado County, with 3 locations.  He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and has attended a number on banking schools & conferences on bank related topics.  Sam has served on a number of IBAT & TBA Committees, served two years as the Lower Colorado River Authority's Lower Basin Regional Council Chairman, has served as the BCL of Texas' (CDC) Loan Committee Chairman since 1996, and has served as the South Central Texas Bankers Association President.  He was first a community bank president at age 27, and had previously coordinated the administrative functions for a $630mm+, publicly traded bank with over 325 FTE's.
