Andrea Urias is a second year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University pursuing a management information systems degree with a concentration in business analysis. She is set to graduate in May 2018. She is a hard-working, enthusiastic student always looking for opportunity. She focuses on efficiency in all tasks, and dedicates her time to her school and extra curricular activities.
While maintaining a 3.87 GPA, Andrea is involved in Rawls Business Leadership Program, a program that focuses on developing “complete students” who posses not only strong academic foundation but real world experiences which are necessary to be an innovative and ethical leader, Rawls Ambassadors, a selective organization who act as the representatives of the Rawls College of Business, and Delta Sigma Pi, the nation's leading co-ed professional business fraternity. She is also very active in student organizations outside of the business school such as the Honors College, Alpha Lambda Delta, and a National Scholastic Honor Society and her sorority, Chi Omega. Andrea plans to work for a company where she can apply her leadership skills and her commitment to community service.
