About BinduBindu is a native of Nepal. She resided in Houston, Texas in 2005. The transition was one of the most difficult times of her life because she was not fluent in English. Bindu is a graduate student at Texas Tech University, pursuing masters in Accounting. After graduation, Bindu plans to pass her CPA exam and work for a public accounting firm.
Bindu took an accounting internship in Spring 2014 with Pratas, Smith & Moore, LLC- Accounting and Consulting Group. This provided her valuable, real-life work experience that has allowed her to see the accounting field up close. She is currently an accountant intern at personal injury law firm, Glasheen, Valles & Inderman, LLP and also a teaching assistant for the accounting department in the Rawls College of Business.
Bindu demonstrates on campus leadership as a president of Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society. She is also proud to be a current member of Rawls Business Leadership Program. Additionally, she is involved in her community through volunteer service. She has been involved with a non-profit organization, Project Smile for numerous years. Project Smile gives out gifts during December and school supplies in the month of August to various family members in Fort Bend County.
