About Evan

Evan Estes is a junior in the Texas Tech Honors college who is pursuing his degree in Energy Commerce. He plans to graduate in the spring of 2017. Evan is a goal oriented individual and this can be seen through his involvement in the Texas Tech Student Government as a senator for the Rawls College of Business, Rawls College of Business Student Business Council, Rawls Business Leadership Program, Energy Commerce Association, and the American Association of Professional Landmen. In addition to this, Evan serves as the Vice President of Recruitment for Rawls College of Business Ambassadors, as the Campus Life Executive for his fraternity Delta Tau Delta, on the Interfraternity Council of Texas Tech as a member of the judicial board, and has made the President's List for a 4.0 GPA in his first four semesters at Texas Tech.

Achieving these goals has not come without hard work. Evan arrives early and stays late and is not afraid to outwork the competition in order to obtain the high standard of excellence he places on himself. Evan has a diverse background and has traveled to several different countries, including Peru to study abroad under the World Energy Project in the summer of 2015.

Evan is a new member of the Rawls Business Leadership Program and he is looking forward to embracing the program and absorbing everything that he can in regards to the unique opportunity. When Evan is not putting in hours at the Rawls College of Business, he enjoys skiing, golfing, and managing his fantasy football team.
