Jamie Wolff is a senior Management Information Systems student, graduating in May 2016, with concentrations in Web Application Design and Telecommunication/Networking at Texas Tech University. She is involved in several leadership organizations throughout Rawls College of Business, including the Rawls Business Leadership Program, Association of IT Professionals, and Student Business Council for the Career Management Center. Jamie acts as the President of AITP and works closely with fellow officers to plan events for members, such as info sessions, workshops, and an industry trip each semester.
Jamie interned at USAA as a IT Intern in the Life, Health, and Annuities area during the summer of 2015. As an intern, she utilized her Java skills and picked up a new language, Visual Basic. She also participated in several intern events, Innovation Week, and a final group presentation with fellow interns. Jamie also interned at Texas Instruments as a Sales and Marketing IT Intern during the summer of 2014, where she gained developer skills in languages such as PL/SQL and Java. At TI, she also gained leadership experience by contributing to the Intern Social Committee to plan social events for the summer interns.
Jamie also works within the Rawls College of Business in Computing Services, where she manages the student printers around the building and helps fellow students with printing setup. In addition, she has also maintained a 3.776 GPA and has received the Dean's List and President's List honors.
