Loren Hall is a senior accounting major at the Rawls College of Business at Texas
Tech University. Loren was born and raised in Southern California and moved with
her family to Dallas, Texas, where she completed her high school years. After finishing
first place in Advanced Accounting at the Business Professionals of America competition
held in Dallas, Texas, Loren decided to pursue a degree in Accounting at Texas Tech
University. Since attending Texas Tech, Loren has been involved in multiple student
organizations including the Carol of Lights Committee, the Multicultural Student Business
Association, and more recently, the Mortar Board National Honor Society.
Loren's academic achievements, passion for accounting, and involvement at Texas Tech University were instrumental in securing an internship with KPMG, a Big Four accounting firm. Loren recently completed her third internship with KPMG and has now interned in the Marketing, International Tax, Forensics, and Audit departments. In April 2014, Loren served as Texas Tech's President for a Day, where she gained first-hand experience shadowing President Nellis and his staff. While serving as President for a Day, Loren had the opportunity to attend meetings, provide input, and work alongside key members of President Nellis' team. Loren's experiences continue to make her a proud Red Raider.
