Mason Fecht is currently a sophomore majoring in Energy Commerce within the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Mason graduated in May 2015 from St. Thomas High School, a Catholic college preparatory for young men in Houston, TX.
In his brief time at Texas Tech, Mason has excelled in his academics and has become involved in several organizations including Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Texas Tech University Honors College, the Rawls Business Leadership Program, Energy Commerce Association, American Association of Professional Landman, the Young Conservatives of Texas, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma Honors Societies, Golden Key International Honour Society, and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars Texas Tech University Chapter. In addition to balancing school and his various involvements, Mason also works at one of the local Chick-fil-A restaurants as a Team Leader.In his few remaining years at Texas Tech, Mason aspires to continue to develop himself, and others, while also whetting his knowledge of the inner-workings of the oil and gas industry in order to fulfill his goal of owning and operating his own activist investment fund.
